Bleddfa Centre for the Arts has a programme of exhibitions and events that focus on sustainable design. The centre has two exhibition spaces, a design shop, tea garden and organic cafe. In the grounds stands Tono Mirai's 'House for Stories', an underground house made of clay and straw.

She is a recognised world authority on Hand-knitting with work on permanent exhibition most notable at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
